St. Boni Historical Society
The St. Boni Historical Society will meet Thursday, July 21 at 7 p.m. in the St. Boni Historical Society Office and Meeting Hall.
The Westonka Jaycees will meet on Thursday, July 21 at 8 p.m. in the St. Boni Community Center.
The St. Boni Fire Department will host "Summerfest 2011" on Saturday, July 23. There will be a 5K/10K Run, Walk, Jog on the Dakota Rail Trail. Pre-register at www.runwalkjog.com/minnesota. There will be food and beverage from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. at the fire station, also other family-friendly activities at the fire station. The evening will wrap up with live music and dancing by the band "Better off Red" from 7-11 p.m. at the fire station. Look for updates at www.stbonifire.com/summerfest.
St. Boni Library
The performance of "Big Fun Family Circus" will be Wednesday, July 27 at 2:30 .m. in the St. Boni City Council chambers, 8535 Kennedy Memorial Drive. This will be the last performance of the summer!
St. Boni Summer Market
The St. Boni Summer Market will be open Wednesday, July 20 from 3-7 p.m. in the St. Boni City Office Building, Hwy. 7 and 8535 Kennedy Memorial Drive, just west of the new bridge crossing Hwy 7. They have fresh fruits and vegetables, also arts and crafts. They are always welcoming new vendors, contact Fred Keller at (612) 419-5932.
The Friends of the St. Boni Library will hold their annual Used Book Sale Thursday, Aug. 4 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday, Aug. 5 from 9 a.m. to noon. Most books, withdrawn from the Hennepin County Library system or donated by the public, will be priced $1 or less. Funds raised by the Friends will benefit the library. Donations can be dropped off at the library until Wednesday, Aug. 3 and are tax deductible. We do not want condensed or textbooks as they do not sell.
The St. Boni Library Book group will meet Wednesday, July 27 at 6:30 p.m. in the lower level of the library.
St. Boni Sportsmen’s Club
The St. Boni Sportsmen’s Club will meet on Wednesday, July 27 at 8 p.m. in the St. Boni Community Center.
