Joshua Bruggman

Joshua Bruggman of Cologne was named to the spring 2012 semester Dean’s List at the University of Minnesota, Crookston. Bruggman’s area of study is Natural Resources. To qualify for a place on the Dean’s List, students must complete 12 or more letter-graded (A-F) credits while attaining a 3.66 grade point average.

Kiah Kayser

Kiah Kayser of Norwood Young America has been named to the spring 2012 semester Dean’s List at Iowa State University. Kayser is pursuing a degree in performing arts. Students named to the Dean’s List must have earned a grade point average of at least 3.50 on a 4.0 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded course work.

Thomas Melton

Thomas Melton of Cologne graduated from Beloit College on May 13, 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts (Communication).

Wendy Reed

Wendy Reed of Hamburg has been named to the President’s List at Lake Area Technical Institute in Watertown, S.D. Reed is pursuing a degree in Practical Nursing. The President’s List is reserved for outstanding students who, through their initiative and ability, have indicated a seriousness of purpose in their educational program. To qualify, full-time students must achieve a semester grade point average of 3.5 to 4.0.

Jeremy Robb

Jeremy Robb of Cologne is part of the 2012 graduating class at William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minn. He was among the students receiving their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree at the college’s commencement ceremonies May 20.

Gustavus Adolphus

The following local individuals were among the 543 students to graduate with bachelor of arts degrees from Gustavus Adolphus College during the school’s annual commencement exercises on Sunday, May 27.

From Cologne: Dane Mellgren (Biology).

From Norwood Young America: Malea Noennig (Biology), Dustin Meuleners (Elementary Education) and Ashley Zabel (Dance).

Iowa State University

Anthony Lueck and Ryan Lueck of Norwood Young America graduated from Iowa State University following the spring 2012 semester. Anthony received a bachelor of science degree in Animal Ecology, and Ryan earned a bachelor of science degree in Meteorology.
