First of two outdoor movies in Watertown set for this weekend

The City of Watertown along with Watertown-Mayer Community Education and sponsors Marketplace Foods, Lakeview Clinic, Watertown Pharmacy and Gifts, the American Legion, Splatter and Hendricks Insurance Agency are proud to be offering two free outdoor movies this summer in Watertown.

Zookeeper will be playing this Friday, June 29t, at Highland Park. Pre-show music featuring local artists Carey Keavey and Scott Lawrence will begin at 8 p.m. and the movie will start around 9:30 p.m. Concessions will be available. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy this free family event.

On Saturday, Aug. 11, Remember the Titans will be playing at the Watertown-Mayer High School football field. The movie will begin around 9 p.m. and a Punt, Pass, and Kick competition will be held for students in grades K-8 prior to the show. Register by calling the Community Ed Office at 952-955-0280. All seating will be in the High School Stadium bleachers and concessions will be available. This is a free event.
