WAHS Meeting

Thur., Aug. 2, 1 p.m. – The Watertown Area HIstorical Society will meet at the Watertown Community Center. The meeting will include a wrap-up of our Rails to Trails Presentation. VBS at Trinity

Monday, July 30 – Thursday, Aug. 2, 5:45 – 8:00 p.m. – "SKY – Everything is possible with God". Every day will include Bible story, singing, prayer, games, snacks, exploration, friendship, God-sightings, and more. Register today for four days of amazing fun! Peace Polo Match

Aug. 4, 11 a.m. – The Peace Polo Match will be held at Blackberg Ranch, 1980 Sally Avenue, in Watertown. Sponsored by Peace Lutheran Church. General admission at gate, $10 for adults, $5 for kids, $30 family max. Gates open at 11 a.m., match at 1 p.m. Silent Auction, Raffle, Ladies Hat Contest, halftime divot stomp. Food served 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

School Board Informational Meeting

Mon., Aug. 6, 6:30 p.m. – The Watertown-Mayer School board will hold an informational session for anybody interested in running for the school board during this year’s election. The meeting will preceded a special school board meeting, which is scheduled for 7 p.m.

WBA Softball Tourney

Aug. 10-12 – The WBA 5th Annual softball tournament will be held August 10-12 at Brook Peterson Park in Waconia. Games Friday & Saturday (Saturday only option available), with Sunday reserved in case of bad weather. Men and coed divisions. The entry fee is $150 (three game guarantee). ACCC Art Exhibit

Aug. 3-Oct. 31 – The Arts Consortium of Carver County is presenting its first ever members’ juried art show titled: The Artists of Carver County. Approximately 20 member artists will be represented at The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum’s Reedy Gallery.
