NYA fire department responds to motorcycle injury

Carver County Sheriff Jim Olson reported that on July 28 at 7:36 p.m. his office received a report of motorcycle personal injury accident at 17000 block of Salem Ave. in Hancock Township.

The driver was northbound on Salem when the accident occurred. The driver was identified as Patrick Mark Vansloun, 48, of Chaska. Vansloun was initially transported to Ridgeview Waconia with life threatening head injuries and then transferred to Hennepin County Medical Center. He was not wearing a helmet.

Agencies responding to the incident were NYA Fire Department, Ridgeview Ambulance, Minnesota State Patrol and Carver County Sheriff’s Office.
