A Spring Park boy was injured on the morning of Sunday, Aug. 5 after fall falling out of a window while he was playing games.
Orono Police Department Sergeant Dave McNichols said that the boy was identified by the department as Blake McShane.
According to a press release, the Orono Police Department responded to a call after a child had fallen out of a window at 4100 Spring Street in Spring Park.
The four-year-old boy had fallen approximately 25 feet after he fell through a screen on an opened window while playing games in the home’s living room.
Officers performed CPR on the boy, and he was airlifted to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale.
According to the release, the boy was in critical but stable condition on Monday. Officers from the Mound Police and Fire Departments and the Hennepin County Water Patrol assisted in the incident.
The accident is currently under investigation.
