NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Buffalo Creek Watershed District has adopted a proposed Budget for the year 2013 which is set forth below:

Proposed Budget for 2013

Audit expense ($2,000.00)

Dues to Minnesota Watershed Assn. ($2,200.00)

Salaries of Managers, per diem & mileage ($20,000.00)

Bond premiums & insurance, including workers compensation ($4,000.00)

Legal expenses ($15,000.00)

Engineering expenses (22,500.00)

Newspaper notices & office expenses ($4,500.00)

Routine stream maintenance ($20,000.00)

Special projects & non-recurring expenses ($27,800.00)

Water quality project ($12,000.00)

BWRS matching grant ($10,000.00)

TOTAL: $140,000.00

Project interest income: $500

Project 79-2 Budget

Projected interest income ($150.00)

Anticipated maintenance expense ($2,500.00)

THEREFORE, the Board of managers of Buffalo Creek Watershed District on the 28th day of August, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. at the Glencoe City Center, Suite 103, 1107 11th Street E., Glencoe, MN, will hold a public hearing on said proposed Budget, and that all persons interested in the Budget are invited to appear and be heard by the Board of Managers with respect to any matters in connection with said Budget

NOTICE is hereby given that the Norwood Young America City Council will be holding a Special City Council meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 15. They will meet at the City Offices, 310 West Elm Street, at 5 p.m. to take a bus tour of the city streets.

Notice of Public Hearing

Request to Vacate Public Drainage and Utility Easement

Notice is hereby given that the Norwood Young America City Council will hold a public hearing on Aug. 13, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. or soon thereafter in the Council Chambers at Oak Grove City Center, 310 Elm St. W. The purpose of the hearing is to consider a request to vacate the platted drainage and utility easements described as follows:

All of the drainage and utility easements lying within Lots 2 and 3, Block 2, as delineated and dedicated in TACOMA WEST INDUSTRIAL PARK, according to the recorded plat thereof, Carver County, Minnesota.

Pertinent information is available for review at City Hall between the hours of 8-4:30, Monday through Friday. Regular Board Meeting

June 25, 2012

The meeting was called to order by Chair Latzig at 6PM with all members present. Others in attendance included: J. Withrow, B. Withrow, J. Kuenzel, T. Erickson, R. Erpenbach, B. Corlett, P. Lemke and B. Schrupp

The Pledge of Allegiance was recited by the board and audience.

Member Spille read Recognition: District 108 Is Proud Of.

Unanimous approval was given to the Agenda, the Minutes of the May 21st regular board meeting, and the Consent Agenda.

Brian and Jen Withrow addressed the Board regarding the 2012 graduation ceremony and related issues in conjunction with their deceased son, Andrew Mulville. Chair Latzig thanked them for sharing their position.

Administrative reports were given by appropriate individuals.

Motion passed 7-0 to recognize and accept the following donations:
