The 19th annual Nickle Dickle Medallion hunt began last week and continues this week with the release of Clue No. 2.
The medallion will be located on public property. Everyone is encouraged to follow along with the weekly clues that will be published in The Waconia Patriot.
You are looking for a “gold” medallion inside a red bag. The person who finds it will be entitled to $200 in Waconia Bucks sponsored by Medallion Cabinetry, as well as a championship plaque. If you believe you have found the medallion, contact the Chamber of Commerce office at (952) 442-5812. If a winner is announced prior to Nickle Dickle Day, it will be published in the newspaper and on our website at waconiapatriot.com.
The medallion will be hidden on or above the ground to a height not to exceed more than six feet. It will be on public ground, either city, school or county within the city limits of Waconia.
If nobody has found the medallion by Nickle Dickle Day, Sept. 15, a final clue will be posted at the gazebo at City Square Park at 9 a.m. that day.
The winner will be presented with a check and plaque at 1 p.m. on Nickle Dickle Day.
