Street construction projects began last we in Watertown and will last throughout much of the fall.

The first project to begin was Madison St. SE and Hunter Drive, which started on Sept. 4. That project, along with all the other street projects slated for this fall — with the exception of the Community Park streets — are expected to take about 2.5 weeks from start to finish.

The next project to begin will be Sugarbush Trail and Dutchmans Way, with work set to begin Sept. 19. The Hutchinson Road project will commence Oct. 5 and the final project, Jackson Avenue, will begin Oct. 23.
