Hot dinner at St. Paul’s
1st Thursday, 5:30-6:30 p.m. Please join St. Paul’s Lutheran Church (505 Westminster Avenue. SW in Watertown) once a month for a wonderful full course hot dinner. All are invited every first Thursday of the month. Info: 955-1498.

Peace Lutheran
Wednesdays – The “JAM! Jesus and Me!”  Wednesday afterschool program will be starting Sept. 12.  This program is designed to help kids think bigger, better and grander thoughts about our awesome God!  We will be studying God’s Word, teaching kids how to apply it to their lives, having fun with arts/crafts, music, skits, games and enjoying fellowship!  $20/month, held at the WM elementary school.  Please call Kathy at 955-2936 or email [email protected] with questions or to register.

Watertown Farmer’s Market
Fridays through Sept. 28, 3:30-6:30 p.m. – Located just east of the dam along the river at Rick Johnson Park. On Sept. 14, a Watertown fire truck will be there for kids to see up close, and there will be a children’s story hour starting at about 4:30 p.m.

Mayer Farmer’s Market
Thursdays, 3-6 p.m. -The Mayer Farmers Market is located at the corner of Highway 25 and County Road 10 west at the Dakota Trail starting point.

Vehicle Fair
Thur., Sept. 13 6:30-7:30 p.m. – Welcome back to a new school year! Come and check out your childs favorite vehicles. There will be a fire truck, police car, ambulance, school bus, dump truck, street sweeper, and more. Fun for the whole family. Parents are responsible for their own childs supervision. In case of bad weather, the Vehicle fair will be cancelled. Call 952-955-0280 for a recorded message. The event is free in the Primary School parking lot.

Lighthouse of Waconia
Thur. Sept. 13, 3-4 p.m. – Pie and Coffee from 3-4 p.m. Free and open to the public.

St. Paul’s Outdoor Movie Night
Fri., Sept. 14, 8 p.m. – Family Night at the Movies!  Bring your family and friends to enjoy a FREE night at the movies at St Paul’s Lutheran Church located at 505 Westminster Ave in Watertown (on the lawn or in the Fellowship Hall if raining).  Lawn games at 8 p.m. with the movie starting at dusk.  Bring lawn chairs, blankets and bug spray.  Free popcorn and beverage.

Pork Chop Dinner
Sun., Sept. 16, 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. – St. John’s UCC, Bongards, will hold its annual Pork Chop dinner at the church. Tickets are $9 in advance or $9.50 at the door. Children $5. For advance tickets call 952-466-2415. Quilt Raffle tickets available at door, 1 for $2 or 3 for $5.

ICCC Fall Festival
Sun., Sept. 16, 11 a.m. -Immaculate Conception Catholic Church will host its Fall Festival Sept. 16., with a homestyle turkey dinner being served from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Adults are $9, children 12 and under are $5. Takeout available for $9. Plenty of family activities. Games for kids of all ages, bingo, fish pond, duck pond, lollipop tree, pie and cake walk. Country Store with baked goods and crafts, Raffle with $1,000 in cash prizes, silent auction starting at 9 a.m.

W-M Girl Scouts Open House
Thur., Sept. 20, 6:30-8 p.m. – Come play the biggest game Twister ever in Watertown-Mayer area!!! This is family friendly night to bring the family and to play games! DFL candidate picnic

Fall Kids Stuff Sale
Sat., Sept. 22, 8-11:30 a.m. – Come check out our Fall Kids Stuff Sale. There will be 30+ sellers selling gently used baby and kids clothing all set up by size, accessories, toys and maternity in the middle school gym.

Peace Lutheran Fall Bazaar
Sept. 28-29- Peace Lutheran Church will hold its Fall Bazaar and Bake Sale on Friday, Sept. 28, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday, Sept. 29, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Snap Fitness Building at 605 Lewis Ave. N. in Watertown. Homemade crafts, quilts, American Girl clothes, woodworking, jewelry, scarves, baby items, greeting cards, canning, baked goods. Funds supplemented by Thrivent.

Mueller Benefit
Sat., Sept. 29, noon-6 p.m. – St. Peter Lutheran Church, 3030 Navajo Ave. in Watertown, is hosting an old fashioned country picnic as a benefit for Pat and Bruce Mueller. They have been members of the Watertown community for 50 years. Pat’s illness and four years of dialysis have required more care from Bruce, making it difficult for him to work full time as a carpenter. Meal tickets $10 or $15 depending on selection. Live music, horse rides, hay rides, kids games, silent auction, ice cream sundae bar and root beer floats, and much more.

ACCC Art Exhibit
Aug. 3-Oct. 31 – The Arts Consortium of Carver County is presenting its first ever members’ juried art show titled: The Artists of Carver County. Approximately 20 member artists will be represented at The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum’s Reedy Gallery.
