Peace Lutheran
Wednesdays – The “JAM! Fridays through Sept. 28, 3:30-6:30 p.m. – Located just east of the dam along the river at Rick Johnson Park. This Friday, Sept. 28, is the last day.

Mayer Farmer’s Market
Thursdays, 3-6 p.m. -The Mayer Farmers Market is located at the corner of Highway 25 and County Road 10 west at the Dakota Trail starting point.

Peace Lutheran Fall Bazaar
Sept. 28-29- Peace Lutheran Church will hold its Fall Bazaar and Bake Sale on Friday, Sept. 28, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday, Sept. 29, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Snap Fitness Building at 605 Lewis Ave. N. in Watertown. Homemade crafts, quilts, American Girl Doll clothes, woodworking, jewelry, scarves, baby items, greeting cards, canning, baked goods. Funds supplemented by Thrivent.

Mueller Benefit
Sat., Sept. 29, noon-6 p.m. – St. Peter Lutheran Church, 3030 Navajo Ave. in Watertown, is hosting an old fashioned country picnic as a benefit for Pat and Bruce Mueller. They have been members of the Watertown community for 50 years. Pat’s illness and four years of dialysis have required more care from Bruce, making it difficult for him to work full time as a carpenter. Meal tickets $10 or $15 depending on selection. Live music, horse rides, hay rides, kids games, silent auction, ice cream sundae bar and root beer floats, and much more.

Howdy Pardners!
Sat., Sept. 29, 9 a.m. – It’s a community walk to support Christian Education right here in Carver County.  Join the posse at Christ Community Lutheran School as we ride out West, Saturday, Sept. 29th on the Luce Line Trail.  Registration is free and begins at 9am. A complimentary continental breakfast will be provided to help you get started. The start/end location will be in the parking lot behind D’Vinci’s.  All children must be accompanied by a parent/adult on this adventure.   See Y’all down on the Luce Line!

Square Dance Saturday
Sat., Sept. 29, 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. – Learn modern American square dancing. In just one Saturday at Watertown Primary School gym, you will easily learn the basic calls, all the while enjoying fun, fellowship, and good food. Potluck lunch and dinner are part of the fun. The party starts at 9 a.m. and ends at 7 p.m. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and shoes. ICC Mental Health Workshop

Oct. 4 and 9 – The Watertown-Mayer Middle School Scholastic Book Fair will be held Thursday, October 4 and Tuesday, October 9 from 3:30-7:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend, held in conjunction with Parent/Teacher Conferences.  Many book for all ages available.  Sponsored by W-M PTO.

St. Paul’s Salad Luncheon
Sat., Oct. 6, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. – St Paul’s LWML of Watertown Salad Luncheon & Bake Sale will be held at the church, 505 Westminster Ave. SW. Ticket prices are $7 for adults and $3 for children ages 4-10. Children under 4 are free. Funds raised will be supplemented by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.

McDonald benefit
Sat., Oct. 6 – A spaghetti dinner will be held for KJ McDonald of Watertown from 5 to 8 p.m. at Watertown City Hall. Free will offering; proceeds will be used for medical bills related to metastatic melanoma. All welcome.

Norwest Deanery Council of Catholic Women
Mon., Oct. 8, 5:30 p.m. – The Norwest Deanery :Council o Catholic Women will meet for their fall gathering on Monday, Oct. 8, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 300 1st. Ave. NW, Buffalo. Registration at 5:30, Liturgy at 6 p.m., and lunch and program at 6:45 p.m. Guest speakers from the ACCW. Cost for the evening is $8. Reservations can be made by calling Lois at 763-682-5279.

Country Music Show
Sat., Oct. 20 – A two-hour country music show featuring Red Johnson, “country music with a heart,” and cowboy poet Rich Bellert will be held at 7 p.m. at the American Legion in Waconia. Event includes tribute to the late Walt Schmakel. Tickets: $10, available in advance at the club or at the door. All welcome.

St. Paul’s Winter Clothing Drive
Sun., Oct. 21 and 28 – St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Watertown will be collecting coats, mittens, hats and gloves in gently used or new condition for distribution to those in need in November. Collection days will be oct. 21 or 28 at the church from noon to 2 p.m.

Hanson’s Haunted Barn
Sat., Oct. 27, 6:30-9:30 p.m. – Wagon rides, kids activities and haunted barn tours. Food donations to Friends For Life Food Shelf, money donations to MN Chapter MS Society. All are welcome at Hanson’s Fun Farm, 14880 50th St. in Mayer.
