The Carver County Historical Society has announced that the date for the barn quilt tour has been changed and set. The group will also be fortunate enough to have the barn quilt lady herself, Naomi Russell, doing the commentary!
The tour will take place on Saturday, Oct. 27 from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The group will begin and end at the Carver County Historical Society in Waconia.
Cost for the day is $48. The group will stop at Lola’s Lake House in Waconia for lunch (not included in ticket price).
The cost includes continental breakfast, bus and a special gift. $250 from the tour will be donated back to the barn quilt project. This amount reflects the cost of one barn quilt block.
A $20 deposit will be required at registration with the balance the day of the tour. If you are still interested in the tour, there is still time to call and reserve a place.
