FFA students compete in shooting

On Sept. 15, the Norwood Young America FFA took part in the GFW FFA trap and skeet shoot competition near Winthrop.

Reed Carpenter, Zack Storms, Mitchel Wickenhauser, Eric Molnau, Cynthia Fevela and Blake Teubert took part in the event.

Carpenter was NYA’s highest placing trap shoot individual, earning 16th out of a group of over 60 students. Wickenhauser placed as the 11th best individual out of over 40 students in the skeet shoot competition.

Next up for NYA FFA will be the regional dairy, general livestock and horse judging events in early October and the Corn Drive for Camp Courage on Oct. 5.
