If you’re looking for a fun night of comedy that the entire family can attend, look no further than nationally known Comedian Bone Hampton.
Hampton will be performing at Freshwater Community Church in St. Bonifacius on Saturday, October 27, at 7 p.m. The comedy show is sponsored by Freshwater Student Ministries, with all profits going to support Student Missions.
Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online at www.freshwaterchurch.org or at the Freshwater Church office at 4319 Steiner St. in St. Bonifacius, as well as at the door the night of the show.
Hampton is a family friendly comedian and actor whose versatility appeals to a wide range of audiences. He recently co-hosted “The View” and has appeared in sitcoms such as “My Name is Earl,” comedy DVD’s including “Thou Salt Laugh,” and several movies including “All About Steve” with Sandra Bullock.
Hampton has come a long way from his humble beginnings in Fort Worth, Texas. He is one of redemptive comedy’s most in-demand and well traveled funny men. His versatility on stage takes him to comedy clubs, church gigs, amusement parks, and sold out theaters.
He got his start when he and some friends decided to go see Jamie Foxx, who was performing at a local comedy spot. Foxx was hosting a Wanda impersonation contest and Bone decided to enter. Within minutes he had the crowd on their feet and Foxx was so impressed that he decided to join Bone on stage. That sparked the beginning of Bone’s successful comedy career.
