RSVP Bone Builders
The Volunteers of America is sponsoring a Bone Builders Class for all senior citizens in the area. The classes are held on Wednesday mornings beginning Oct. 17 from 11:15 to 12:15 in the Primary School gymnasium/auditorium in Watertown (the old elementary school building.
The classes are free but you must have your doctor’s permission stating that you can participate in the class. Call Watertown-Mayer Community Ed for added information and for a sign-up and permission sheet.
My husband and I have been in Yoga class for the past 5 years at the Primary School. We meet for 1 hour every Wednesday from 10-11 a.m. and then continue with the Bone Building class. The new class consists of working out with hand held and ankle weights. Won’t you join us for a few hours of healthful exercise? It has certainly helped my physical abilities and you all know, I’m no spring chicken. I can vouch that the Yoga class has helped us “older” people look and feel better as we age gracefully. Hope to see a lot of you at the bone builders class!
