Questions sought for Oct. 30 candidate forum
The Watertown Chamber of Commerce will host a candidate forum for the Watertown city council and mayoral races on Tuesday, Oct. 30, at Watertown City Hall.
The event will be moderated by Dr. Scott Jensen, and all four city council candidates and both mayoral candidates are expected to participate. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. Mayoral candidates this year are Charlotte Johnson and Rick Mann, and city council candidates include Chuck Charnstrom, Jason Theisen, Adam Pawelk and Steve Washburn. A Q&A with both mayoral candidates begins on Page 1 of this paper, and a Q&A with the city council candidates begins on Page 9.
The forum will also be broadcast live on Cable TV Channel 12 at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 30. The forum The candidate forum will also be replayed at various times on Channel 12 from Oct. 31 through Monday, Nov. 5
The public is invited and encouraged to submit questions for the candidates.
