Incumbents all hold seats on W-M school board
All four incumbents up for re-election successfully retained their seats on the Watertown-Mayer School Board during Tuesday’s election.
Steve Burns, John McCain, Chad Koehler and Jennifer Hoover all won another term on the board. They had faced challenges from three candidates: Erin Blair, Gary Bjurstrom and Bob Brasch.
With 2,126 votes, Burns received the most votes of all the candidates. Hoover was next with 1,733, McCain received 1,695 votes and Koehler received 1,637.
Among the new challengers, Blair received the most votes with 1,244. Bjurstrom received 978 votes and Brasch got 742 votes.
