Auburn Homes & Services to host Festival of Trees gala

Even though Halloween is barely in the rearview mirror and Thanksgiving has yet to arrive, Auburn Homes & Services in Chaska is already starting to put the shine on Christmas. The Festival of Trees, A Sparkling Christmas, will be held at Oak Ridge Hotel and Conference Center in Chaska on Friday, Nov. 16.
“This is really something that needs to be seen to be fully appreciated,” said Connie Kraus, event chair. “This gala will kick off the holiday season with some serious style.”
Proceeds from The Festival of Trees will support a Life Enhancement Fund at Auburn Homes & Services. Auburn has campuses in both Chaska and Waconia and provides a continuum of care for seniors, including: independent living; assisted living; enhanced assisted living; short-term rehabilitation; long-term skilled nursing.
The Festival of Trees will feature professionally decorated trees that will be showcased at Oak Ridge during the event. Trees have been sponsored and pre-sold to local businesses and individuals though at least one tree will be auctioned off at the event.
“This is about our communities coming together to support a wonderful organization that truly helps strengthen families in our area,” Kraus added. “We want to celebrate our seniors and give something back for all that they’ve done for us throughout their lives.”
The Festival of Trees starts at 5 p.m. and includes a silent auction, live auction, dinner and dance.
“We have gathered some rather unique experiences for people. We have vacation homes, suites at sporting events and customized oil paintings. You can also bid on the chance to have the exterior of your home professionally decorated for Christmas,” Kraus concluded.
Tickets are $85 each with tables of 10 available. For tickets, contact (952) 797-6982, email [email protected] or visit
