World-known accordionist “Skeets” Langley will perform at The Scandia Lodge – Sons of Norway annual membership dinner on Tuesday, Nov. 20. Submitted Photo

The Scandia Lodge – Sons of Norway will feature “Skeets” Langley at its annual membership dinner held at Island View Golf Club in Waconia at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 20.
Langley started playing the accordion at the age of 6 and entered his first accordion contest three years later.
Langley is a world champion accordionist who was awarded the gold medal as the American entry into the international accordion competition in Baden Baden, Germany. He has performed in concert with the world renowned opera singer, the late Luciano Pavarotti.
The event is an open invitation to the community.
“You don’t have to be Norwegian or a member to enjoy a delicious dinner and a great evening with ‘Skeets’ Langley,” said Scandia Lodge President Dick Kellor.

The Sons of Norway promotes Norwegian traditions and fraternal fellowship through the cultural and social opportunities. These activities include language camps and classes, scholarships, handicrafts, cooking and heritage classes, heritage programs, sports programs, travel opportunities, Viking Magazine, and outreach programs sponsored by the Sons of Norway Foundation.
