Cologne Academy student is a shining example

Torah Barrett, a kindergarten student at Cologne Academy, has taken the school’s November core virtues of “Gratitude and Generosity” to full application in her young life. To help with Cologne Academy’s 4th annual food drive, Barrett decided to sell some of her toys in order to buy food for those less fortunate. Barrett and her mom, Lisa, went to the grocery store with her earnings and bought over 300 lbs of food! Barrett was quick to note that her little brother, Brodie, also sold some of this toys for this cause. Barrett and her parents, Kevin and Lisa, live in Belle Plaine. Submitted Photo
