Notice of Public Hearing
Notice is hereby given that the Watertown Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing at 6:00 PM or soon thereafter on Thursday, December 6, 2012 in the Council Chambers of Watertown City Hall, 309 Lewis Avenue South, to review the following request:
Prairie River Home Care/Ken Figge (Applicant), requests that the City consider the following actions for the property located in downtown Watertown, legally described as:
Lots 6 and 7, Block 36, TOWNSITE OF WATERTOWN, Carver County, Minnesota, according to the record plat thereof.
That part of Keiffer Street as dedicated on the recorded plat of the TOWNSITE OF WATERTOWN, Carver County, Minnesota, that lies Southerly of a line drawn from the Northwesterly corner of Lot 6, Block 36 of said TOWNSITE OF WATERTOWN to the Northeasterly corner of Lot 10, Block 25 of said TOWNSITE OF WATERTOWN and Northerly of a line drawn from the Southwesterly corner of said Lot 6, Block 36 to the Southeasterly corner of said Lot 10, Block 35.
The Northeasterly 132.00 feet of Lot 1, Block 1, SOUTH LEWIS AVENUE, Carver County, Minnesota, according to the recorded plat thereof. For the purposes of this description the Northeasterly line of said Lot 1 is the Southwesterly line of Keiffer Street.
1. Rezoning – to rezone the property from I-1, Light Industrial to C-3 Downtown-Central Business District
2. Conditional Use Permit – a conditional use permit to allow a multi-family housing development to be constructed in the C-3 zoning district.
The items highlighted above may have a direct or indirect effect on your property. All persons wishing to be heard with reference to these applications will be given the opportunity at this meeting. Written comments can be directed to City Hall, 309 Lewis Avenue S., Watertown, MN 55388. Plans are available for review at the City Office.
