Seven football players from the University of Wisconsin – Stout were recently named to the 2012 All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference team, with four on the second team and three earning honorable mentions. Senior Austin Schwartz, a native of Waconia, was named to the All-Sportsmanship Team. The team is comprised of individuals who display exemplary sportsmanship through the season and includes one member from each school. Schwartz played only eight games during the regular season, going down with an injury against Whitewater on Oct. 13. Before his injury, he caught ten passes from the tight end position for 51 yards and his first career touchdown. The Blue Devils finished the 2012 season 3-7.
