There is still time to purchase your Christmas Tour of Homes tickets for this Saturday, Dec. 8.
What is the Christmas Tour of Homes? This is an organized, scheduled tour where participants visit four homes that have been uniquely decorated for the holidays. There will also be a variety of snacks and beverages at each home.
Homes featured this year belong to Ben and Julie Karnes, Mori and Dana Willemsen, Paul and Karen Hallquist and Lyle Zieper.
Organizers from the NYA Relay for Life team Blossoming with Hope are inviting everyone to visit these beautiful homes and the special decorations they have on display.
Participants will enjoy beef brisket, yuletide punch, homemade cookies, meat balls, egg nog, cider, a candy bar with assorted holiday candies and much more. In addition to the treats and wonderful sights, participants will also have a chance to win a fabulous gift basket at each home they tour.
In addition, tour-goers will have a chance to see unique items such as a goose feather tree dating back to the 1920s, salvaged Christmas historic ornaments from an old church in Norwood that is no longer standing, hand painted ceramic village set, kitchen decorations, special nativity scenes, special Christmas trees and unique Christmas lighting. Enjoy Christmas lights inside and out, antique electric train and antique circus sets, and much more.
A limited number of tickets are being sold. Tickets can be purchased for $20 at Chameleon Salon, The Flower Mill and Klein Bank NYA.
On Saturday, ticket holders will meet at All Saints Church in Norwood Young America at 4:30 p.m. to receive details and final directions. Then at 5 p.m. the tour will begin from there. You provide your own transportation.
One-hundred percent of this donation goes to the NYA Relay for Life, and the Blossoming with Hope team thanks all in advance for their support.
