Obit: Annette Ludescher

Annette Ludescher F., age 87 of Watertown, died Friday Nov. 30, 2012, at the Lighthouse in Waconia.

Mass Of Christian Burial was held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 4, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Watertown with Fr. Joseph Fink as celebrant. Visitation was 4-8 p.m. Monday at the Johnson Funeral Home in Waconia, and also Tuesday one hour prior to the mass at the church. Interment in the St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Waconia.

Annette was born on May 24, 1925, in Waconia, the daughter of George and Barbara (Meyer) Lewis. She grew up in Delano and attended the St. Peter’s Catholic School. After high school Annette married Harold Rose. Annette suffered the tragic death of her husband Harold in 1952.

Annette was united in marriage with Roman Ludescher and this union was blessed with children Robert, Teresa and James. The family lived in rural Watertown. Roman died in 1986. Annette was a faithful member of the St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Delano and later the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Watertown. She was active in church functions and had been a Sunday School teacher. Annette dedicated to saying the rosary. Annette enjoyed painting, crafts, gardening, canning and baking. She had loved the opportunity to travel. Annette enjoyed playing the piano.

Annette is preceded in death by her parents George and Barbara Lewis, husband Harold Rose, husband Roman Ludescher, sisters Bernice, Kathy, Dorothy, Beatrice, Lucille, Evelyn, Nora, Isabelle and Mary; brothers Lloyd, Willard; Earl and George.

Annette is survived by her loving family: children Robert Ludescher of Prior Lake, Teresa Hilk and her husband Brian of Watertown, Jim Ludescher and his wife Lisa of St. Cloud; grandchildren Brady Ludescher, Anna Ludescher, Brandon Hilk, Colin Hilk, Blake Baynes and his wife Meghan; sister-in-law Georgia Snicker; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Casket Bearers are Anna Ludescher, Colin Hilk, Brian Hilk, Tom Drews, Jim Drews, Darren Drews.
