Signs of the season

A plethora of holiday-themed events were held in Waconia and the surrounding area during the past week. For example, Waconia citizens enjoyed events associated with Homespun Holidays along with several other activities this past weekend. In Mayer, shoppers attended a Holiday Open House and citizens in New Germany enjoyed breakfast with Santa on  Saturday, Dec. 1.

Upcoming events include Make A Memory Day with photo ops all over town with wooden snowmen and character cutouts on Saturday, Dec. 8, Stocking Stuffer Saturday and Kids Shopping Day at various businesses on Saturday, Dec. 15, and the Merry Marathon — featuring last-minute shopping with extended hours at many Waconia businesses — on Saturday, Dec. 22.
