Breakfast with Santa
A crowd of children and their families filled the NYA Pavilion on Saturday morning, Dec. 8, for the West Carver Lions’ annual Breakfast with Santa event. A light snowfall the previous evening set the stage for Santa’s appearance, and children had the opportunity to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus and share their Christmas wish lists. Above, Landon and Kylee King enjoy their turn with the featured couple from the North Pole. Santa must have brought some of the North Pole weather with him, as winter arrived in force later that evening with a snowstorm that lasted all day Sunday and left about a foot of snow on the ground by the end of the weekend.
