Obit: Patricia Mueller

Patricia L. “Pat” Mueller, age 63 of Watertown, passed away Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012 at the North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale.

Funeral service was held at 11 a.m Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012. at the St. Peter Lutheran Church in Watertown with Rev. William Kirmsse officiating. Visitation was held from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Johnson Funeral Home in Waconia and also Wednesday one hour prior to the service at the church.  Interment in the church cemetery.

Pat Mueller was born on June 16, 1949, in Watertown, the daughter of Richard and Betty (Lee) Johnson. She was a graduate of the Watertown High School.  Pat was united in marriage with Bruce Mueller on December 19, 1967 at the Shaw Air Force Base in South Carolina.  While Bruce was stationed in Vietnam, Pat attended beauty school in South Carolina. When Bruce was discharged from the Army, the couple moved to Watertown.  Pat had worked at a few beauty salons before opening her own shop in her Watertown home which she operated for over 10 years.  Pat had then worked for Young America Corporation, Gage Marketing, Archway Marketing and DeLux Golf Cars.

Pat enjoyed crossword puzzles, knitting and crocheting. She enjoyed being active in her daughter’s lives and cherished the time spent with them and her grandchildren. Pat loved her dog Izzy.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents Richard and Betty Johnson, father-in-law Wilmar Mueller.

Pat is survived by her loving family, husband Bruce Mueller of Watertown; daughters and sons-in-law Michelle and Daryl Barfnecht of Watertown, Rebecca and Chad Bettcher of Watertown; grandsons Brett Barfnecht, Tyler Barfnecht, Brody Bettcher; sister Gail Bodine of Watertown; brother and sister-in-law Richard and Linda Johnson of Detroit Lakes; mother-in-law Orla Mueller of Watertown; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Joyce and Rick DeNomme of Watertown, Duane and Joann Mueller of Watertown, Vicki and Rev. Robert Hagen of Coal Valley, Illinois; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Serving as casket bearers are Brett Barfnecht, Tyler Barfnecht, Mike DeNomme, Paul DeNomme, Noah Mueller, Jed Bodine.
