CITY OF WATERTOWN, MINNESOTA

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF WATERTOWN BY REZONING CERTAIN LAND FROM LIGHT INDUSTRIAL (I-1) TO DOWNTOWN-CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT (C-3).

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERTOWN, CARVER COUNTY, MINNESOTA, ORDAINS:

Section 1.  The official Zoning Map of the City of Watertown as established and adopted pursuant to Chapter 62 of the Municipal Code of Watertown, Minnesota, is hereby amended by changing the zoning designation of the following described land from Light Industrial (I-1) to Downtown-Central Business District (C-3):

Lots 6 and 7, Block 36, TOWNSITE OF WATERTOWN, Carver County, Minnesota, according to the record plat thereof.

AND

That part of Keiffer Street as dedicated on the recorded plat of the TOWNSITE OF WATERTOWN, Carver County, Minnesota, that lies Southerly of a line drawn from the Northwesterly corner of Lot 6, Block 36 of said TOWNSITE OF WATERTOWN to the Northeasterly corner of Lot 10, Block 25 of said TOWNSITE OF WATERTOWN and Northerly of a line drawn from the Southwesterly corner of said Lot 6, Block 36 to the Southeasterly corner of said Lot 10, Block 35.

AND

The Northeasterly 132.00 feet of Lot 1, Block 1, SOUTH LEWIS AVENUE, Carver County, Minnesota, according to the recorded plat thereof. For the purposes of this description the Northeasterly line of said Lot 1 is the Southwesterly line of Keiffer Street.

Section 2. This land shall now be part of the Downtown-Central Business District (C-3) and subject to the regulations of Chapter 62 (Zoning Ordinance), of the Municipal Code of Watertown, as amended as legally described and shown in the map as part of Exhibit A.

Section 3. This ordinance shall be in effect from and after its passage and publication according to law.
