Do you know any great child care providers?
2013 marks the 26th year of “Week of the Family Child Care Provider.” The Carver County Child Care Association (CCLCCA) is accepting nominations for Carver County’s Family Child Care Provider of the Year. Each year we honor one licensed family child care provider as Carver County’s Provider of the Year.
In addition to being recognized by the association, they attend and are honored at the Minnesota Licensed Family Child Care Association’s “Week of the Family Child Care Provider” Banquet held May 4, 2013 at the Kahler Grand Hotel in Rochester, Minn.
Criteria for being chosen as Family Child Care Provider of the Year include: must have been a licensed family child care provider in Carver County for at least three years who has not received this award for at least ten years; must exhibit special competency as a family child care provider; promotes in-home licensed family child care in his/her community; demonstrate professional skills in child care and have made a positive impact on the lives of young children; and may not have any pending negative licensing action.
Anyone may nominate a licensed family child care provider for this award.
This is a wonderful way to celebrate the child care providers in our community and all they do for the children they care for and their families.
If you know a licensed family child care provider who you feel is deserving of this honor, please nominate him/her.
To obtain a nomination form visit the web at www.cclchildcare.org or contact Deb at (952) 657-2400. Nominations must be postmarked by Jan. 7, 2013.
