Ridgeview Clinics is offering a free health assessment to area residents on Saturday, Jan. 12 from 8 a.m. to noon, at the Ridgeview Chaska Clinic, Two Twelve Medical Center, 111 Hundertmark Rd., Chaska. Each appointment will include the following health assessments:
• Height, weight/body mass index (BMI) measurements
• Blood pressure check
• Total cholesterol (including HDL, LDL and triglycerides)
• Fasting blood sugar
All individuals must have an email address to participate. Screening participants must also complete an online health assessment prior to their scheduled appointment.
The assessment includes questions about nutrition, exercise and lifestyle. Ridgeview Clinics staff will review the results with participants and provide wellness care resources and recommendations to improve health and fitness, including Ridgeview’s Family Health Manager. This event is free of charge. Participants must register in advance by calling (952) 442-8083.
Advance Care Planning
All are welcome for an information session that will explain why advance care planning is important and the steps involved. Sessions will be held Jan. 17, 6:30 p.m.; Jan. 26, 9:30 a.m.; Feb. 28, 6:30 p.m.; and March 2, 9:30 a.m. All sessions will be held at Ridgeview Medical Center, Waconia.
