W-M School Board to hold special meeting on security
The Watertown-Mayer School Board will hold a special meeting on Thursday, Jan. 3.
The first portion of the meeting, which begins at 5 p.m., will serve as the board’s annual reorganizational meeting. The second portion of the meeting, which begins at 5:45 p.m., is intended to be a parent meeting regarding school security in the Watertown-Mayer District.
The issue has become a hot topic following the Dec. 14 shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Conn.
