Youth wrestlers win at Rosemount

In its season debut, the Waconia youth wrestling team won at Rosemount on Dec. 16. As a team, the Wildcats were 3-0 in pool play over Rosemount, Tri-City United, and Northfield, and defeated New Prague for the championship. Eight wrestlers were undefeated during the tournament, and coach Bob Green said it was a true team effort, with every wrestler contributing to the win.
