Evelyn O. Gregg, age 74, of Minnetrista, passed away Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012 at her home in Minnetrista.
Funeral Service was held Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Minnetrista Baptist Church in St. Bonifacius with Rev. John McNabb officiating; visitation was Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service all at the church; prayer service was Wednesday 7:30 p.m.; interment in the church cemetery.
Evelyn Ole Gregg was born on March 20, 1938 in Minnetrista, the daughter of Harry and Esther (Thurk) Bruhn. She was baptized at the Minnetrista Baptist Church in St. Bonifacius. On Oct. 26, 1957, Evelyn was united in marriage to Warren J. Gregg at the Minnetrista Baptist Church in St. Bonifacius by Rev. D.S. Wipf.
Evelyn was known as a hard worker, her life revolved around her church and the children that surrounded her. She made the best sugar cookies in the world and loved playing cards and dominos. Evelyn was also known for her home made cooking.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband Warren; son Rodney; father and mother Harry and Esther Bruhn; brothers LeRoy, Wesley and Lyle Bruhn; sisters Elaine Johnson, Gladys Johnson, Bernice Bruhn, Betty Ann Danielowski; sister-in-law Gladys Bruhn; brothers-in-law Marlin Johnson, Donald Danielowski, Vernon Johnson.
Evelyn is survived by her loving family; son Gary Gregg and special friend Lee Johnson of Minnetrista; sister and brother-in-law Arlene and Jack Dahl of Mound; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Phyllis Bruhn of St. Bonifacius, DeDe Bruhn of Montrose, Jay and Shirley Gregg of St. Bonifacius, Allen and Sandra Gregg of St. Bonifacius; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Casket Bearers are Steve Johnson, Ronald Johnson, Ed Bruhn, Wayne Gregg, Jeff Gregg, Daniel Osterkamp.
