Kiah Kayser of NYA was named to the fall 2012 semester dean’s list at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. Kayser is majoring in Performing Arts. Students named to the dean’s list must have earned a grade point average of at least 3.50 on a 4.0 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded course work.
Hallie Miller of Cologne was named to the fall 2012 dean’s list at The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth. Dean’s list members have achieved a 3.75 grade point average or above on a 4.0 scale. Miller was listed as a senior this past year with a major in Nursing. The College of St. Scholastica would like to commend Miller for honorable academic achievements.
A number of local students were named to the dean’s list for academic excellence during the Fall 2012 semester at South Dakota State University. To earn dean’s list distinctions in SDSU’s eight colleges, students must have completed a minimum of 12 credits and must have earned at least a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale. Local students qualifying for the honor included Megan Norman of Norwood Young America, Joshua Way and Samuel Mellgren of Cologne, and Joseph Lucas and Spencer Biermann of Hamburg.
UW — River Falls
David Moteelall of Cologne, majoring in Business Administration, and Angie Esselman of Hamburg, majoring in Animal Science, have been named to the fall semester dean’s list at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
To be named to the dean’s list, a full-time undergraduate student must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 on a scale of 4.0, or midway between an “A” and “B” average.
