Notice of Public Hearing
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
COUNTY OF CARVER
CHASKA, MINNESOTA
Appeal for a Variance
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Wednesday the 6th day of March, 2013, as soon as possible after 7:00 p.m. upstairs in the Social Services Wing in the Commissioner’s Meeting Room of the Carver County Government Center, Chaska, Minnesota, the Carver County Board of Adjustment will hold a public hearing to consider the application of Scott Hoese for a variance pursuant to Chapter 152 of the County Code.
The application is being made for the following described property (full legal description is on file with the application):
Approx. 10 acres in the S1/2 of the N1/2 of the NW1/4 of Section 33, Watertown Township
Address: 5590 Polk Ave
If approved, this variance would allow Mr. Hoese to subdivide an existing house with approximately 10 acres, which would not meet the minimum road frontage, and width/depth ratio requirements. The ordinance requires a minimum of 400 feet of width and a minimum of 20 acres to accommodate the proposed new lot; however, the applicant is requesting the width and road frontage be reduced to 66 feet to preserve tillable ground.
All persons interested are invited to attend the hearing and be heard on this matter. Written comment may be mailed to:
