NOTICE OF OPEN HOUSE FOR BENTON LAKE EXCESS NUTRIENT TMDL

To Comment on 30 Day Public Notice for Approval by EPA of the Benton Lake Excess Nutrient TMDL.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Wednesday, the 6th day of March, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Conference Room 1 of the Carver County Public Works Building, Cologne, Minnesota, the Carver County Water Management Organization Staff will hold an open house to present the Benton Lake Excess Nutrient TMDL in accordance with the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency 30 day public notice for comment. The Benton Lake Excess Nutrient TMDL contains goals for the water quality of Benton Lake to meet State Standards. This TMDL outlines sources of the pollutant and areas of reduction necessary to meet these goals.
Copies of the Draft Benton Lake Excess Nutrient TMDL are available from the Planning & Water Management Department or from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency website: www.pca.state.mn.us/water
All persons interested are invited to provide input and be heard on this matter. Written comments may be mailed to:
