Watertown Township annual meeting set for March 12
The 2013 Watertown Township annual meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 12, at 7 p.m. Residents of the township are invited and encouraged to attend the meeting at the Township Hall.
In the past, 15 to 30 residents have attended the meeting. This is the chance for residents to offer their input, advice and opinions to the Board of Supervisors.
The agenda at this year’s meeting is expected to include, among other items, 2012 financial statements, fire protection contracts, police contracts, snow plow ordinance, a report on road and bridge fund and dustcoating past and future projects, grader purchase consideration, setting of the 2014 levy, and visitors Tim Lynch — a Carver County Commissioner — and a representative of the Carver County Sheriff’s Office.
