The Watertown City Council will hold a public feedback session on its 2013 mission, vision, values, and goals on Tuesday, March 19, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at City Hall. The public is invited and encouraged to attend the session and provide input.
The Watertown City Council and staff met on Jab. 26 in a goal setting session. During the meeting, the City Council completed an organizational assessment to measure the city’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. From this analysis, the Council and staff began refining its focus, honing in on the mission and values. The council also reviewed its goals for the coming year.
The city intends to use the Mission, Vision, Values, and Goals as a guide when conducting business. Once formally adopted, the Mission, Vision, Values, and Goals will be used as a tool by the Council to ensure consistent decision making.
To read more about the missions, vissions, values, and goals, visit the city’s Web site at www.ci.watertown.mn.us. The City would like to hear feedback on those items at Tuesday’s meeting. If you are unable to attend the session, please send comments to Luke Fischer, City Administrator, at [email protected].
