Dairy Day Dinner is “61 and Having Fun”

The Carver County Dairy Day Dinner Committee and the Carver County ADA invites you to attend the 61st Annual Dairy Day Dinner and princess coronation on Saturday, April 13, at New Germany City Hall. Social hour stats at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m. and the annual program at 8:15 p.m.

This year marks the 61st year of recognizing outstanding local dairy farmers, as well as individuals and businesses that support the continuation of dairying in Carver County. It also marks the sixth year of our young Dairy Ambassador program and the 61st  year of crowning the lovely young ladies that will serve as Carver County’s Dairy Princesses. We are encouraging all past DHIA award winners, ADA award winners, any former Dairy Ambassadors and Dairy Princesses and anyone else interested in what is happening in Carver County dairy farming to attend.

The Master of Ceremonies for the evening is Vern Oraskovich, former Carver County Extension agent and local celebrity.

Tickets for this event are available for $12 advance purchase, until April 6 from many local dairy farmers, any ADA board member, any Dairy Day Dinner Committee member, or by contacting  Mark Wickenhauser at 952-442-2803 or Barb Grimm at 952-657-2476, or email bar_gri@frontiernet.net. Tickets will also be available at the door for $15 at the New Germany Hall on April 13.
