Roast beef dinner
FRIDAY, APRIL 12 — A roast beef dinner to support Peace Village Campus activities will be held at The Harbor from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. This is the campus’ sixth annual spring fundraiser. No reservations needed. Takeouts available by calling ahead to (952) 467-3692. There will also be a bake sale.
FRIDAY, APRIL 12 — A Salad Luncheon will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ (308 1st Street NE) in Plato. Sponsored by St. Paul’s UCC Women’s Guild. There is a cost to attend. Cookbooks available for purchase.

TUESDAY, APRIL 16 — The Carver County Licensed Family Child Care Provider Association (CCLCCA) will hold its monthly training at the Early Childhood Center (10600 Village Road, Chaska) from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Shelley Butler will present “I’m Good at What I Do.” Earn two hours of training. TUESDAY, APRIL 16 — The Lutheran Home: Belle Plaine and its Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association provide resources and a support group for community members whose lives are touched by Alzheimer’s disease and other memory loss disorders. A free, open to the public monthly support group will meet from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Kingsway Retirement Living in the Ratzkeller. Kingsway is the newest community for seniors on The Lutheran Home Campus in Belle Plaine. St. John’s bake sale
APRIL 19-20 — St. John’s Lutheran Church (216 McLeod Ave. N) in Plato will hold a bake sale from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, April 19 and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 20. Desserts, beverages and hot dog meal available.

SATURDAY, APRIL 27 — The Cologne Fire Department Relief Association’s annual Steak Fry (10 oz. steak with fixings) will be held at the Cologne Fire Station from 3 to 8 p.m. There is a cost to attend the dinner.

Bike Rodeo in NYA
