As in the past, the Mayer Fire Department Fish Fry dinner was another huge success. More than 800 dinners were served to the public. The Ladies Aid of Zion Lutheran Church had a large variety of pies to sell to compliment the dinner. Wives of the members of the fire department held a bake sale as an added feature of this event. What a wonderful way to spend a Sunday with friends and neighbors. Thanks to everyone for a job well-done.
