Ruth A. Eiden, age 84, of Waconia, passed away Monday April 15, 2013 at the Waconia Good Samaritan Center in Waconia.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, April 19, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Waconia with Father Bennet Tran as Celebrant of the Mass; a gathering of family and friends from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the church; Interment St. Bernard’s Catholic Cemetery, Cologne.
Ruth was born on Sept. 30, 1928 in Waconia the daughter of Edward and Alice (Crest) Krautbauer. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Waconia.
Ruth loved being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed her walks outside visiting with people along the way. She was an avid card player and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and spending time in her garden.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husbands, John Klein and Alfred Eiden; parents Edward and Alice Krautbauer; brother Edward Krautbauer Jr.; sister Dorothy Wickenhauser.
Ruth is survived by her loving family: son and daughter-in-law Al and Shirley Klein of Fifty Lakes; granddaughter and husband Jennifer and Jamie Keaveny; grandson and wife Chad and Julie Klein; great-grandchildren Ellana, Clara and Izabelle Keaveny, Logan Klein; sister and brother-in-law Helen and Ray Therres of Chaska; brother-in-law Wally Wickenhauser of Waconia; sister-in-law Mary Tellers of Chaska; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
