NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR LIVESTOCK FEEDLOT PERMIT
Notice is hereby given per Minnesota Statutes 116.07 subd. 7(a), that Lenzen Acres, LLP will be applying to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency for a permit to construct a 50’ x 85’ total confinement calf barn with a 10’x50’ solid manure stacking slab at a feedlot with the capacity of 500 animal units or more.
The construction is proposed at a feedlot located in the SW ¼ of the SW ¼ of Section 12 of Washington Lake Township, T114N and R26W of Sibley County, Minnesota.
The existing facility consists of total confinement barns, a partial confinement barn and an open lot housing 134 heifers at 700 lbs. (93.8 AU), 105 calves at 200 lbs. (20.4 AU).  The total existing animal units are 114.8 AU.
The proposed construction will result in the housing of a total of 260 calves and 90 heifers for a total of 115 animal units.
This publication shall constitute as notice to each resident and each owner of real property within 5,000 feet of the perimeter of the expanding feedlot as required by Minnesota State Law.
