Miller commits to St. Cloud State

Central High School junior Nicole Miller has verball committed to play volleyball with St. Cloud State University in the fall of 2014. Nicole’s dream was to play in college and is very excited to be a future Husky.
“I always was in contact with them and enjoyed the school, loved the campus and the coaches,” she said.
Nicole, of Hamburg, has played volleyball since she was in the third grade. She played for Emanuel Lutheran School in Hamburg and Central High School.
As a second year starter, she helped the Raiders to a 12-12 record last season. Nicole put up 18 blocks, served 38 aces, and tallied 292 digs, six assists  and 281 kills at a  .252 hitting percentage.
Currently, she is playing for Northern Lights Junior Club in Burnsville.
Nicole said she plans on studying psychology to perhaps become a counselor, but first on her mind is high school and her upcoming senior season.
“I’m excited for the new season to begin and see what it will bring,” she said.
Her mother Jenny and brother Timothy are very proud of “Coco.”
Nicole will join Central’s Dani Domeier at St. Cloud. Dani is a 2011 graduate.
