OBITS- James G. Dittmar Sr.

James G. Dittmar Sr., 66, of Webster, Wis. passed away Thursday, April 25,2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Jim was born Sept. 8,1946 in Young America to Raymond and Lorrain Dittmar. He was the fourth of nine children.
Jim attended St. Johns Luthern School in Young America. He married Kathleen Miller on Dec. 20, 1969, in Young America in Carver County. They lived in Carver County area  until 1973, when they moved to Siren, Wis. They later moved to Webster, Wis.
Jim worked in canning factory for Green Giant, worked for Havestor Silo worked factories and in construction. He also worked as a youth counselor from 1981 to 1999.
Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, crafts and spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed telling stories and was a pracitcal joker. He had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed visiting and gossiping with his friends at the round table in the Moonglow Cafe in Webster.
Jim leaves to celebrate his memory, wife, Kathy; daughters, Heidi (Mark) Dumas, Heather (Clint) Bonniwell; son, James Jr. (Tammy) Dittmar; grandchildren, Forest, Joseph, Andrea, Caleb and Samual; brother, Jeff Dittmar; sisters, Janis Frahm, Patty Schwartz and Debbie Dungca; Uncle Lyle and Aunt Claudett Zelleman; nieces; nephews; cousins; and countless friends not to exclude Annie and Danny.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Dennis and Rodney Dittmar; and sisters, Diane Dittmar and Susan Weber.
A visitation service were held on Wednesday, May 1, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Swedburg Taylor Funeral Home in Webster. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 2 at 11 a.m., with visitation prior to service from 10 to 11 a.m. There will be a luncheon to follow at Webster Community Center.
Services will be officiated by Pastor Freddie and arrangements were entrusted to Swedburg-Taylor Funeral Home in Webster.
