Michelle M. Ditsch, age 37, of St. Bonifacius, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2013.
Mass of Christian Burial was Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 11 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church in St. Bonifacius with Father Thomas Balluff as Celebrant of the Mass; visitation Friday 4 to 8 p.m. and 1 hour prior to the Mass all at the church; interment at the church Cemetery.
Michelle was born on March 3, 1976 in Waconia the daughter of Michael U. and Mary M. (Melchert) Ditsch. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Boniface Catholic Church in St. Bonifacius.
Michelle was a very generous person with a huge heart. She was known to her family and friends children as their Auntie. Michelle was a lifelong member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in St. Bonifacius where she ran the silent auction at the Hog Roast every year. She was a 20 plus year employee at the Holiday Gas Station in St. Bonifacius as an Asst. Manager. Michelle enjoyed singing karaoke as a pastime. She was involved with the Tri-County Horse Riders working at the lunch stand. Michelle was a fan of the St. Boni Saints and the Minnesota Twins.
Michelle was preceded in death by her grandparents Andrew and Dolores Ditsch, Alfred Melchert and Ruth Melchert; cousin Steve Schenten.
Michelle is survived by her loving family; mother and father Mary and Michael Ditsch of Watertown; brother and sister-in-law Marcus and Maressa Ditsch of Honolulu, Hawaii; sister Melissa Ditsch and special friend Randy Ebert of St. Bonifacius; nephew Blake Ditsch; nieces Anella and Avery Ditsch; aunts and uncles Ruth and John Kroening of Victoria, Dennis and Jynene Ditsch of Bloomington, Betty and Gene Henry on Long Prairie, Delrose and Fred Braegelmann of Nerstand, Pam and David Schrupp of Paynesville, Jon and Cheri Melchert of Cologne; special friend Lil Jacobson of Paynesville; other relatives and friends.
Casket Bearers are Paul Schenten, Travis Melchert, Jacob Melchert, Matt Schrupp, Bobbie Schrupp, Tim Schrupp.
