The Mayer Lutheran softball team ended the regular season 0-14 after four conference losses last week.

Hosting Tri-City United on May 14, Mayer Lutheran was able to score three runs, but unfortunately gave up 13 runs to the Titans, who took the game 13-3. The Crusaders were even less successful in Game 2, as they were shut down 30-1.

At Norwood Young America on May 16, the Crusaders lost both games to the Raiders in five innings. NYA shut out LHS in the first game 16-0 and also took the second game 19-1.

The Crusaders finished the season last in the Minnesota River Conference. Mayer Lutheran was seeded No. 9 in north division of the Section 2A tournament and faced No. 8 Buffalo Lake-Hector in a play in game on May 21.

Results of that contest were not available when this issue went to press. The victor advanced to play No. 1 Lester Prairie/Holy Trinity that same night.
