KleinBank announces staff promotions for Ruth, Seib

KleinBank recently announced the promotions of George Ruth to Executive Vice President and Chief Credit and Risk Officer and Ron Seib to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.
The announcement of Ruth’s promotion to Executive Vice President and Chief Credit and Risk Officer was made by Doug Hile, President/CEO of KleinBank. In his announcement, Hile stated, “We are especially pleased to recognize George for his expertise and ongoing commitment to our credit and risk management functions. His knowledge, insight and experience enhance KleinBank’s commitment and success in being responsive to the needs of our customers and communities.”
Ruth joined KleinBank in 2001, bringing 36 years of financial expertise to our organization.
Prior to joining KleinBank, Ruth authored the Commercial Lending Texts and Analyzing Financial Statements. The Commercial Lending Text won the Award of Excellence. He is also an experienced teacher and has taught for the American Bankers Association Schools of Banking, Graduate Schools of Banking and the Minnesota Bankers Association. A life long resident of Minnesota, George and his wife, Linda, reside in Rosemount. They are active members of Hosanna Church and also support the Family Resource Center.
In announcing Seib’s promotion, Hile stated, “We are extremely pleased to recognize Ron’s significant contributions to our company. His extensive skills, experience and expertise are valuable assets to KleinBank’s continued longevity and success.”
In 2002, Seib joined KleinBank as Chief Financial Officer of the Klein Financial Inc. holding company. He began serving KleinBank in 2005 when the organization consolidated its nine charters into one charter. Prior to joining KleinBank, Seib served as Senior Vice President Corporate Controller for Old National Bancorp in Evansville, Ind. He also served River Valley Savings Bank, FSB and KPMG Peat Marwick in Peoria, Ill. Seib earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Augustana College in Rock Island, Ill. He also holds a Certified Public Accountant designation.
He and his wife, Sally, reside in Waconia where he serves as President of the Waconia West Carver Rotary and also as Elder and Treasurer of ParkSide Church.
