Ridgeview Medical Center and Ridgeview Foundation Boards of Directors appointed new members this spring. The Medical Center board appointed Kate Roehl and the Foundation board appointed two new members, Katherine Forrester and Jim Leonard.

Board of Directors
Kate Roehl has served on the Ridgeview Foundation Board since 2005 and will now also be a member of the Ridgeview Medical Center Board of Directors. Roehl is the chief administrative officer and executive vice president at Lake Region Medical in Chaska and is president of the Fleischhacker Family Foundation. She and her husband reside in Maple Plain, and have four grown children and six grandchildren.
The Ridgeview Board of Directors is chaired by Mitchell Kilian of Waconia. Officers include Wayne Hubin of Watertown, vice chair; Julie Herman of Waconia, secretary; and Maria Glynn of Waconia, treasurer.

Ridgeview Foundation recently added two members to its Board of Directors. Katherine Forrester, of Excelsior, and Jim Leonard, of Chaska, join the existing 21 members.
Katherine Forrester, a wealth management advisor with Northwestern Mutual Financial, has received numerous awards and accolades for her business successes. She is a monthly correspondent for FOX 9 News. Forrester began her working years as a music therapist and professional singer with the Cash family out of Nashville, Tennessee. She lives in Excelsior.
Jim Leonard has a degree in chemistry from the University of Wisconsin and a master’s degree from the University of South Dakota. He taught college chemistry for 10 years. Leonard has 30 years of experience in developing and marketing sustainable and renewable building technologies associated with commercial roof coatings and adhesives, and he holds two patents. Leonard and his wife, Kay, a long-time Ridgeview volunteer, have five grown children and 13 grandchildren. They have been residents of Chaska for 35 years.
The Foundation Board is chaired by Jean Buller, of Chaska. Chuck Spevacek, of Excelsior, is vice chair; Dermot Cowley, of Watertown, serves as secretary; and Darla Holmgren, of Waconia, is finance chair.
