Mayer Riverside 4-H

New members are always welcome to join the Mayer Riverside 4-H club. It is well to note that the club meets on the third Sunday of the month at the Mayer Community Center at 6 p.m. If you can’t make the meeting time, give Melanie Menth a call at 612-749-0400 to make your intentions known.

Electronic Sign on Main Street

The City of Mayer, Mayer EDA, Park Board and First Minnesota Bank recently entered into a cooperative venture to purchase the electronic sign at the First Minnesota Bank. The electronic sign is being used to inform the public about upcoming events and meetings. Business can also purchase advertising on the sign. Contact City Hall for more information on the advertising rates. Watch for community event announcements on the sign.

Vacation Bible School

Zion Lutheran School of Mayer will hold Vacation Bible School next week, June 10-14. If your child isn’t registered yet, please call the school at 657-2339 or go online at zionmayer.org. The theme for this year’s session will be “Tell it on the Mountain: Where Jesus Christ is Lord.”
